Overview

Allow user to request a detailed system information report that can be shared with experts to diagnose complex issues. This is a recommended feature to implement for all devices to greatly ease remote support.

The implementation requires a device to support a "dump" (or any clearly named command) that will cause the device to generate a detailed report and use the Send Dump API to upload it to the server.

The end customer can later analyze or share the uploaded file to help diagnose potential issues.
